Morning!
Today’s post will be quite brief but pithy and as always (okay not quite) to the point. 
As a savvy online net blogger or entrepreneur, chances are…you possess lots of skills mere mortals (read: your fellow moms and dads and colleagues etc.) do NOT have.
After all, you know how to use social networking, you know about the joys of Twitter, you know how to use Facebook to grow your business…..
But now tell me….
Do you think your friends would benefit from such skills as well?
I was reminded of this over the weekend when I was researching the teachers to whom my kids are assigned. As you’re probably aware, there’s this nifty site
that allows parents and students to, well, rate their teachers. It can be most eye-opening indeed (and the college scene has something similar at Rate My Professors).
Now, you’d think that any networked mom would know about these sites, but when I shared them with my mom network, the results were….nobody was awware of their existence!
Quite depressing indeed.
Which brings me to the point of this post.
You know FAR more than your peers, plain and simple. You really do!
Thus, whenever something obvious comes across your radar, business-related or not (after all, we ALL have lives outside of the computer, we really do….okay, I’m a master at self-delusion, but we really DO have lives outside the computers and …. )!
It might be common-sense to you, but trust me….it’s NOT for the majority of the world.
Be a covert angel and help out your business friends whenever possible - the good karma will come around again and again.
